1. How do I find information about train services, routes and times?
There are a number of ways you can find out this information. The Citytrain web site has a timetable search facility which is quick and easy to use for every station on the Citytrain newtork. You can find the search facility here. Alternatively your local attended Citytrain station can supply you with timetables for your line. Information on stations in your area can be found here.
2. Is Citytrain part of South East Queensland's new integrated public transport system?
Yes! Citytrain is proud to be a part of the new integrated public transport system, TransLink. TransLink is transforming public transport in south-east Queensland by introducing a new integrated ticketing system from July 2004, to make public transport is easier and more convenient.
3. Can I travel interstate from Brisbane?
Countrylink, a division of RailCorp, provides long distance passenger rail and coach services. Their fleet of XPT and XPLORER trains and road coaches provide services from Brisbane and the Gold Coast to 360 destinations throughout New South Wales and to interstate destinations including Canberra and Melbourne.
