QR Enhances After Dark Safety Initiative

QR will extend its “After Dark” safety initiative on the QR Citytrain network, at 11 stations from 22 March, with a further 11 stations to come under the trial in July.
QR already had 10 stations that are staffed outside normal hours, and from next week, QR staff will be working as part of a trial extension at the suburban stations of Toowong, Cleveland, Woodridge, Toombul, Albion, Bray Park, Birkdale, Mitchelton, Goodna, Sunnybank and Southbank.
QR staff will assist passengers by helping them to and from car parks and offering assistance as required.
It’s expected that further trials at an 11 additional stations will start in July at Darra, Loganlea, Milton, Banyo, Zillmere, Booval, Wynnum North, Fruitgrove, Salisbury, Boondall and Dinmore.
