Campaign sells integrated ticketing message

An education campaign has been launched to explain how TransLink, the new integrated public transport ticketing system will work when it is introduced in south-east Queensland on 1 July. There will be 23 zones, covering from Noosa in the north south to Coolangatta and west to Helidon. The new system will initially use paper tickets with smart cards and smart card machines being progressively rolled out throughout south-east Queensland from 2005 to 2006. The new fare structure will be announced next month.
