We’re committed to providing our Queensland Rail Travel customers with an exceptional experience. As part of this commitment, we’re purchasing another Tilt Train and refurbishing our existing Cairns Tilt Train fleet.
For the first time, our Cairns Tilt Train fleet will have a sleeper option for our customers. The Railbed sleepers are a comfortable seat by day and transform into a flat bed by night. The first new-look Cairns Tilt Train with Railbed sleepers is scheduled to commence services later this year.
For our customers who travel on our modern Tilt Trains already, the addition of a personal sleeper presents a new and exciting opportunity to travel in modern, fast trains and relax in a bed during the evening. Railbed fares will include all meals and will represent an affordable, value for money sleeper option on the Tilt Train.
Customers will also have the option of travelling in full leather Premium Economy seats.
Both Railbed sleepers and Premium Economy seating will have personal in-seat electronic entertainment systems.
