The Queensland Explorer Pass is available to international visitors only, and allows unlimited travel across the Queensland Rail long distance network in any direction and as often as you like over a three or six month period from the first day of travel. Travel in an economy seat to Cairns & Tropical North, Townsville & Magnetic Island, the Whitsundays, Capricorn Coast, Hervey Bay & Fraser Island, Noosa & the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Longreach & the Outback.

After completing your online booking, your Travel Pass Receipt will be sent to your email address. Please print your receipt and present to the Travel Centre or Ticket Office prior to commencing your first journey. At this time, the receipt will be exchanged for your actual travel pass.
