In this edition of EMBARK we have featured the 40th birthday of Australia Zoo. Throughout 2010, the wildlife adventure park has a fun-filled agenda of special events and birthday festivities to celebrate. To mark the event, Australia Zoo is inviting you to come along and help them revel in their anniversary celebrations and be a part of keeping Steve Irwin’s dream alive.

During February and March, Traveltrain Holidays will be hosting its annual Rail and Holiday Expo across Queensland. These Expos showcase great holiday ideas, products, tours and packages from some of the country’s leading tourism operators, and is a great opportunity for you to speak firsthand with the product experts themselves. Entry is FREE and there’ll be one taking place near you - don't forget to register your interest today!

The expo will also facilitate the launch of our new Traveltrain Holidays 2010 Queensland Rail Holidays brochure, featuring some fantastic package deals from all over Australia.

Throughout 2010, Queensland Rail will continue to hold numerous Community Reference Group (CRG) conferences. These sessions allow our most important stakeholder – you, our customer – the unique opportunity to express your concerns and suggestions to further enhance our network. Also included are a number of great Group Getaways taking place throughout 2010 which offer an exciting way to meet new people and experience a spectacular rail journey throughout Queensland.
